Trail – New York Creek Trail
I love this trail! It was the first trail I discovered in El Dorado Hills and I owe a lot of credit to it for getting me excited about mountain biking again. Having such a nice trail in the neighborhood is a fantastic community asset.
This trail is short and sweeeet measuring only 1.6 miles. The northern end is where the action is. Nothing too complex or overly challenging in any way. The ride it yields is just plain fun and also technical enough to demand your full attention.
A trail this short isn’t much to rave about unless it connects to something else. Ride a short distance from it’s northern end to the Wild Oaks Trail, which starts in Wild Oaks Park. That’ll take you to Brown’s Ravine in Folsom Lake SRA.
